The aim of SUPO is to contribute to the livelihood improvement of the less fortunate people in cities in developing countries, especially Africa. SUPO is a small, not-for-profit organisation (NGO). In our projects which are small-scale, we seek strong ties with existing local structures, and we aim to employ innovative and sustainable approaches.
Projects
In the last years SUPO has been working in Burkina Faso (West-Africa). Currently we are writing a proposal for a follow-up project on the application of solar energy in urban households.
We are also developing ideas on a contribution to the project of the Borko Foundation, see www.borkofoundation.com
